Countax is an independent British company founded in 1982 to manufacture garden tractor accessories. This was followed by development and production of the first Countax garden tractors. By 1992 we were firmly established as market leader in the United Kingdom, a position we maintain today.
In the intervening years Countax has grown dramatically to hold a greater than 30% share of the British market, while manufacturing and exporting to Europe, and as far away as Australia and New Zealand.
We continue to invest in new technology and development. Most of the components of our products are manufactured in our newly expanded Oxfordshire factory, making our spares economical and available on a ‘next day’ delivery.
